“Ink & Drinkâ€
A pop-up temporary tattoo shop, by Hybrid Space
A great example of how our in-office conversations spill out into our community. Capitol Hill is notoriously known for it’s many tattooed residents – Hybrid Staff included! It’s been a point of curiosity for our Principal, Rob Humble. After a staff meeting one day, his curiously pointed out all our tattoos. One-by-one, we began sharing the history and meaning behind each line of ink. It was a really nice, but eventually led us to reveal the ambitions for our next tattoos.
We wanted to share that conversation with our community and hear about their ink stories and ambitions. We held our very first “Ink & Drink” – an event where we invited artists, neighbors, and the Capitol Hill Arts Walk community to share stories through temporary tattoo debauchery. We printed temporary tattoos of different artists work, invited people to design their own tattoos, and had a station to draw their own tattoos during the event.
