In collaboration with Mithun Architects, HyBrid designed Inhabit to fill the need for high-quality, affordable, modular housing in high density settings.
A prototype unit was constructed to test assumptions of fit, finish and process and displayed to the public on a downtown rooftop in the Seattle Central Business District. A full 68 unit build-out was designed for an urban site in Seattle and is currently waiting out adverse economic conditions before proceeding with construction. The residential components are intended to be fully factory built (over site built concrete podium) and is targeted as LEED silver.
